Hon. Dr. Freda Prempeh, a dedicated public servant and Brands & Communication Expert, proudly represents Tano-North Constituency as its three-time Member of Parliament—the sole female MP in the Bono and Ahafo regions. With a notable career, she served as Deputy Minister for Works and Housing, Deputy Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Minister of State in both Works and Housing and the Office of the President, and Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources.
As a highly educated individual, she earned her Business Administration degree from the University of Ghana, followed by a Masters in Marketing, Masters in Media and Public Relations, and a PhD in Business Administration from the Ghana Telecommunication University in March 2021. Notably, she was recognized as the best student in Population Communication by the Ghana Institute of Journalism in 1998.
